Heavenly Seminyak - Villa Annecy

"Absolutely Fabulous"

The location of the villa is close to the action in Seminyak but nicely tucked away in a quiet location. The staff at the villa were very friendly and helpful really going out of their way to make our stay as relaxing as possible. The villa it's self was well maintained, clean and comfortable. The emphasis on the pool made staying in the garden and using the pool facilities a delight for the children and adults alike.

 

 

 

Seminyak is a bustling, so many excellent restaurants, shops and things to do and down a little cobbled lane just 5 minutes walk from this thriving community is Villa Annecy.

 

After 20 hours of travelling, we were greeted at the airport by Wayan who was very efficient and when we arrived at the villa, Made was there to greet us with a big smile, cold towels and a drink. The villa was spotlessly clean and very spacious even though there were 10 of us staying. The furniture was really good quality and in good condition, even so Made told me that in August they were replacing all of the covers, towels & linen etc., so I am guessing the next guests will benefit from that.

 

We had breakfast each morning prepared by Wayan before she went off and cleaned and tidied our bedrooms for us and there was someone with us all day making sure that everything was kept clean and tidy but they were in no way intrusive. We were also pleased that there was a full time night security guard who stays at the villa whilst you are asleep.

 

We had the best fun ever with the diving board - haven't been on one for donkey's years but it was in constant use by both the kids and the adults, the pool is a really great size and one of our friends who could not swim learnt whilst she was here, but there was still plenty of room for the kids to mess around whilst she was having her lessons, so it was perfect.

 

I was a little concerned at just how busy the town was when we arrived but quickly realised that you can stay at the villa and switch off from the world, relax, read and be taken care of (we booked quite a few in house spa treatments whilst we were there - organised by Made) or you can go and be part of fun in the town depending on what works best for you.

 

We have family in Australia and China so for us this was a perfect meeting point and we are planning to come back to Villa Annecy in 2 years time.

 

 

 

Located down a quiet laneway filled with luxurious villas yet on the doorstep of busy Seminyak you'll find Villa Annecy! Perfect residence for a group getaway with all the amenities you'll need. Staff were really attentive yet discreet, a personal phone call from the Villa Manager was much appreciated when a personal iPad was water damaged (self-inflicted). Bintang supermarket located just down the road if ever you were to run out of cold refreshments, also all the shops and boutiques for all the shopaholics! Four master sized bedrooms each with its own ènsuite and walk in robes and security safes. The only watch out if you're travelling with small children is to monitor them at all times around the open pools. All in all it is was a great holiday and a great place to stay with friends!

 

 

 

I have just returned from staying at Villa Annecy with a group of girlfriends .

 

We could not fault the place, from the welcome cocktail to the large very clean bedrooms and ensuites.

There are several staff that work at the villa and there is someone there at all times, this made us feel very secure. Made, the housekeeper was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, she made our appointments and dinner reservations, and organised the transport for us. Wayan looked after the cooking and provided lovely breakfasts for us .

The security staff were also very helpful.

 

Natasha is the contact for the booking, she is very helpful and responds to emails and requests promptly.

The location is great, it is easy walking distance to the beach , restaurants and shops.

 

I would thoroughly recommend this to all of my friends, in fact am planning on celebrating my 50 th there in a couple of years.
