The language of the Balinese is Bahas Indonesian with a regional dialect, however, you will find that English is very commonly spoken.

 

The currency used in Bali is the Indonesian Rupia (IDR).

 

Hot throughout the year temperatures range from 24 - 32 degrees. The dry season usually runs from April to October and the rainy season occurs from November to April, When you will experience short burst of rainfall.

 

There are just over 3.3 million people in Bali and the main religion is Hindu. There are many celebrations and ceremonies during the year, the most significant being the Hindu New Year (Nyepi) which occurs in March and is celebrated by having a day of silence, however, the evening before many colourful celebrations and parades take place.
